Good morning!! We are featuring Amy Decker of Craft Adventures Studio today. Here is what Amy has to say:

Hi! I’m Amy Decker, vendor C25 at The Fussy Duck. My business name is Craft Adventures Studio. My booth is located in the side room on your way to the kitchen. I sell my work as a means for clearing out what I make. I can’t use everything myself. And it’s nice to have a little money to cover supplies. I play with colors and textures and like to tell a story (weird, silly, inspirational) in whatever project I am working on. I do mixed media art, journal making, writing, knitting, and dungeon mastering.

Make sure you stop by The Fussy Duck this week and check out Amy’s booth while you are here!!

Hi!! We are Katie & Rachel of 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑪𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆, 𝑳𝑳𝑪

We have individually been collectors of antiques and vintage items since we were young, but it wasn’t until November of 2021 that we began our business together, and started our booth at The Fussy Duck. After 2 months of success with our booth, we expanded to a double booth and have been enjoying our time at the Fussy Duck so much! We are constantly bringing in new inventory and changing up our booth to keep it looking fresh! We have a wide variety of items in our booth for sale. From records, to linens, handmade quilts, small knickknacks, collectible pottery, an entire section in the basement of kid’s items, and so much more.

You can find our booth to the right of the big fireplace in the main room. We hope that you will pop in to our space at The Fussy Duck while you are there this week, and check out the items we have for sale…there is something for everyone! Happy Shopping!!

I would like to introduce to you to Ryleigh Dark, daughter of Kristy who was featured last week. Here are some words she wanted to share:

My name is Ryleigh Dark, I am 21 years old and a full time college student, crisis counselor, and mother to a beautiful 7 year old boy! I was never really interested in crafting until my mom and sister introduced me to it and now I cannot get enough! I began helping my mother with her booth back in July of 2021 and in October I began making crafts of my own! I fell in love with the art of making liquor bottle hand soaps and other various things that spoke true to who I am as a person! I have been a partner with my mother at our booth, A14, since January under the business name “Sunshine Girls Mercantile” and I love every minute of it!

We love having Ryleigh here along with her Mom and we hope you will find time this week to pop in and stop by their booths along with others!

I would like to introduce to you, Kristy Hartsell-Dark of Sunshine Girls Mercantile! This is what Kristy would like to share:

We started our small business “Sunshine Girls Mercantile” in 2020. This is after I was a partner at a refurbished furniture and home decor store in Albany and many years of vendors booths before the store. I wanted to do something with my girls, (4 of them) and my daughter said I always say “good morning sunshine”, hence “sunshine girls”! When Ryleigh came up with the liquor soap bottle idea I though it would be great! Her booth will be featured next week, so stay tuned for that! I love being able to have a fun business with my daughters and it’s been so great being together at the Fussy Duck!

Make sure you stop by Kristy’s booth this week when you pop in to the Fussy Duck! She is in the left corner when you first walk in to the big room upstairs! As always, The Fussy Duck is open Tues-Sat 10-6.

Introducing Lorrie McCulley from Sis’ Sugar Shack. Here are some words from Lorrie:

I currently run my own Telecom Consulting Firm, OSP Solutions, LLC.. but I started my second (fun) business, Sis’ Sugar Shack and create custom candy bouquets for all occasions. When I approached Risa about having a presence at the Fussy Duck, I had no idea that it would bring out all of the crafty & creative things that I’ve always wanted to do! Risa and the Fussy Duck welcomed Sis’ Sugar Shack & has been more than amazing at letting me add my own craftiness to the space I have at A62. Other than Candy bouquets, coffee bouquets…. we do a ton of resin crafts, diamond art, fun wood craft signs.. and downstairs I have some refurbished furniture. Fussy Duck is so fun… I enjoy looking through all of the booths when I’m there & think I spend more there than I actually sell – but it’s a great hobby venue to afford to continue crafting!

Stop by The Fussy Duck this week and pop by Sis’ Sugar Shack in the main fireplace room, half way through the middle aisle. She has sweet gifts for any occasion.
